Dam Engineering:

With a long-standing involvement in the supply of water, MG has designed and supervised the construction of several dams. MG's Dam and Hydropower Department, traditionally active in dam engineering, has been responsible for the design and construction supervision of more than one hundred dams, some over two hundred meters high. A number of dams involve advanced engineering technology in the fields of Hydraulics, RCC and jet grouting. In connection with hydropower plants, MG has designed several different earth fill and rock fill dams with clay cores or concrete faces, that also serve river regulation and irrigation purposes. In addition to supervising numerous earth fill and rock fill dams, the company has gained extensive experience in the design and supervision of large concrete dams (gravity dams, arch dams and buttress dams).
